    On your way to the west entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, stop and visit Dan's iron sculpture park titled Ex-Nihilo (pronounced "Ex Nee-Hill-o" - one of several ways to pronounce it according to Webster's!) which means something created from out of nothing in Latin.     Historic steam train excursion through the foothills of Mount Rainier. Experience train travel as it was in the early century.   • Winter Activities

    Mt. Tahoma Nordic Trail System
    The Mount Tahoma Trails Association is an all volunteer organization, dedicated to providing the public with safe and affordable winter backcountry experiences. Volunteers maintain over 40 miles of trails, 20 miles of which are groomed regularly for cross country skiing. The trails link four warming huts, which are popular destinations.
